Last summer, Harry Souttar was rumored to be joining the Rangers. He recently celebrated with his Leicester City teammates while sporting a vintage uniform to show his love for the Ibrox squad.
With just three appearances during the English Championship season, the Australian international—who is the brother of current Rangers defender John Souttar—had a difficult time helping Leicester City win the league and advance to the English Premier League. His campaign total of appearances was just four, since he also made one cup appearance.

After falling down the pecking order last summer, Harry Souttar was linked with an exit from Enzo Maresca’s side, with then-Rangers boss Michael Beale reportedly keen on a deal. However, nothing materialized, and he remained at the King Power Stadium, largely left out of the squad or named as a substitute, as Leicester City secured a return to the Premier League.
Now on holiday, the Leicester squad is resting up for the tough pre-season and upcoming campaign. Several players, including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who was instrumental in their title success with 12 goals and 14 assists, have been sharing snaps of their downtime. One photo features Conor Coady, Harry Winks, Marc Albrighton, and Souttar, with a backdrop of blue skies, sunshine, and a swimming pool. Notably, Souttar is seen wearing a Rangers jersey. This summer, the 25-year-old is likely to be linked with exits again as he aims to return to regular first-team action. As a regular on the international stage with Australia, he is determined to play week in and week out.
